Nordisk Film & TV Fond has published online 'The Art of Individual Decision Making — a Competency Development Report for Nordic Film Commissioners'. Quoting from their press release, the fund says that the publication offers the first ever in-depth analysis of the work and role of a Film Commissioner in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, and how they collaborate. They add that the publication is a useful tool for the Nordic film institutes who wish to create induction training programmes for film commissioners and/or improve their competency.
"We have a unique support system in the Nordic countries that is envied by film communities all over the world, and I hope that this report can be a starting point for our future work to further improve and develop it" said Wiedemann.
