Burma VJ impressed in New York

Anders Østergaard's IDFA winner and Oscar shortlist 2010 was awarded twice at the Cinema Eye Honors for nonfiction feature filmmaking in New York.

Outstanding Achievement in Editing went to Janus Billeskov-Jansen and Thomas Papapetros, and director Anders Østergaard and producer Lise-Lense Møller were awarded with Outstanding Achievement in an International Feature.  

Recipient of 38 awards, "Burma VJ - Reporting from a Closed Country" about a group of video journalists in Burma during the anti-government uprising in 2007 is shortlisted for this year's Academy Awards (the final nominations to be announced 2 February).
