"Cathrine" in great demand after Berlin

Mads Matthiesen's short film "Cathrine" is travelling to New York to participate in the New Directors/New Films series (25 March – 5 April). This prestigious, non-competitive series is presented jointly by the Film Society of Lincoln Center and the Museum of Modern Art and introduces New Yorkers to new talents from around the world."Cathrine" is a tight drama about fragile teenager Cathrine and her struggle to break free of her domineering, insensitive parents. Since participating in Berlin's Generation Kplus, the film has been in great demand. Next stop after New York will be the children's festival in Kristiansand (27 April – 3 May).Produced by Nordisk Film/Super16 in collaboration with the DFI Film Workshop and Framework Films.
