SCHOOL CINEMA

School Cinema (Med Skolen I Biografen) invites schoolchildren, students and their teachers to watch quality films at their local cinema and work with the films at school.

The School Cinema programme encourages teachers and students to use their local cinema as a classroom, watching films and then analysing and working with them afterwards.

The wide-ranging programme, featuring films from around the world, appeals to children and students from kindergartens through high schools and other secondary schools.

Screenings are accompanied by teaching materials for teachers and students. The materials are available free at the Danish Film Institute’s educational website Filmcentralen.
