CPH:PIX kicks off

Copenhagen's brand new international film festival CPH:PIX has kicked off 10 days of exciting film events in the Danish capital.

With a line-up of 185 films from around the world, CPH:PIX has set the table for a film feast in all flavours. From Clearly Canadian to American Indies, from Latin Zone to the Belgian Boom, and from North Korean spotlight to Asian Avantgarde and the Middle East.

The New Talent Grand Pix, the festival's main competition, will be focusing on budding talents, showcasing 12 young filmmakers.

CPH:PIX is the first new festival to come out of the Copenhagen Film Festivals fund, embracing Denmark's three largest festivals: BUSTER, CPH:DOX and, the youngest member of the family, the feature film festival CPH:PIX.
