Danish docs at Lussas

RETROSPECTIVE.  The French documentary film festival in Lussas, kicking off Monday 23 August, will present a special focus on Denmark in their Doc History programme. The festival also includes a string of Jørgen Leth pearls.

The French États Generaux du Film Documentaire will showcase 30 films representing Danish documentary film over a period of 80 years. From Friedrich Dalsheim and Theodor Christensen, over Carl Theodor Dreyer, Jørgen and Ole Roos to Jon Bang Carlsen, Christian Braad Thomsen and Jesper Jargil.

The festival also includes a programme of Jørgen Leth's best works.

Screening takes place from Monday 23 August to Thursday 26 August.
