Danish Films at Haugesund

FESTIVAL. Danish films make up a strong hand at the New Nordic Films section of the Haugesund International Film Festival in Norway--an important hub for the Nordic film industry and platform for showcasing films and films in progress.

Janus Metz' Cannes winner "Armadillo" and Thomas Vinterberg's "Submarino", are selected for the official programme at Haugesund International Film Festival. Moreover the 16th New Nordic Films section will showcase some 9 new Danish feature films.

"Armadillo", a boxoffice hit in Denmark, will be released in Norwegian cinemas last week of August, and later in the year in Norway, Vinterberg's  "Submarino".
