The international jury of the 54th Semana Internacional de Cine de Valladolid presented three awards to Annette K. Olesen's "Little Soldier", which received the Ecumenical Prize at Berlin this year:
- Best Director of Photography Award (Camilla Hjelm Knudsen)
- Best Actress Award (Trine Dyrholm)
- Silver Spike Award
President of the international jury was Ettore Scola.
Moreover a jury appointed by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) gave a
- Cultural Diversity — Special Mention
to "Little Soldier" for "cinematographic quality when it comes to reflecting burning questions in the present day European social reality."
