NEW RELEASES.
Eros, ageing, and loss, and a love story with a touch of black comedy are some of the ingredients in the two stories ready to hit the screen in Danish cinemas this November. One is an experimental film in essay fashion by Jørgen Leth, the other, Rune Schjøtt's feature film debut.
Jørgen Leth's 'Erotic Man' (image above, photo by Adam Philp) was picked up by Toronto Film Festival's artistic director Steve Gravestock. In the festival programme Gravestock writes that 'Erotic Man' "is in some ways his most radical and personal work, a powerful and sometimes shockingly honest essay about eros, aging and loss." 'Erotic Man' is also selected for IDFA 2010.
