15-year-old Fanny has just finished primary school, but instead of celebrating with her friends, she has to spend the summer trying to say goodbye to her dying mother, whose final wish is to be together in their summerhouse. Not knowing how much time she has left, they must find a way to live while waiting. Fanny's fear of loss intensifies her already strong teenage feelings and starts to infect her other relationships with her friends and boyfriend.

Sylvia Le Fanu graduated from the Norwegian Film School in 2020 and holds a BA in Film and Media Studies from the University of Copenhagen. She also graduated from the independent film programme 18FRAMES in Odense, Denmark.
