"Out of Love" by Birgitte Stærmose won the Prix UIP Rotterdam Short Film Nominee for the European Film Awards at Rotterdam International Film Festival. Prix UIP is presented by the European Film Academy and UIP at fourteen film festivals across Europe. The prize includes €2,000 and an automatic nomination for the European Film Awards.
"Out of Love" is on the borderline between documentary and fiction. The film depicts post war Kosovo, where children tell their moving stories about loss, fear and the hope for a brighter future.
The film is participating in the Generation 14plus section at Berlin International Film Festival (11-21 February). It is produced by Jesper Morthorst for Alphaville Pictures
