Triple honours at IDFA for Danish film


At the closing ceremony 2 December of the world's most important documentary film festival, IDFA Amsterdam, Danish films swept away three of the top awards.
Pernille Rose Grønkjær and Tju Bang Film's "The Monastery" received the festival's prestigious Joris Ivens Award.
Eva Mulvad and Bastard Film's "Enemies of Happiness" received the Silver Wolf Award.
Erlend E. Mo and Magic Hour Films' "My Eyes" won the Silver Cub Award.
This is the second time in five years Denmark has won the Joris Ivens Award. In 2001, Sami Martin Sarif and Phie Ambo received the Joris Ivens Award for "Family".
"The Monastery" and "Enemies of Happiness" are selected for the competition programme at Sundance 2007.For further information:
