Danish films at Peace gala

NOMINATIONS. Four highly topical documentaries along with Bier's study in human dilemma have been invited to the annual Cinema for Peace Gala on 14 February in Berlin.

While the German capital is still immersed in hectic festival activity, the Cinema for Peace charity gala to highlight humanitarian issues through film will be rolling out the red carpet for filmmakers and international figures from the world of film, politics and business.

Five Danish films join this year's selection of cinematic works nominated by the Foundation committee for their exemplary focus on global matters: "Armadillo", "Blood in the Mobile", "The Red Chapel", "Aung San Suu Kyi – Lady of No Fear", and Oscar contender "In a Better World".

The Cinema for Peace presents its awards during the gala evening and will be showing clips from the selected films.
