"It's a nation within the nation. It was dangerous for me, but it's even more dangerous for the people who live there. Officially, the inhabitants of the garbage dump don't exist," says Hanna Polak in FILM about "Something Better to Come," the fruit of 14 years among homeless children in Europe's largest landfill outside Moscow.

FILM also features stories about Camilla Nielsson who documents the reform process in Zimbabwe from the inside in "Democrats," Joshua Oppenheimer and the reception of "The Look of Silence," and Nasib Farah and Søren Steen Jespersen's "Warriors from the North" about young Somali Danes who venture into holy war.

The feature articles covering the Danish line-up at IDFA are available both online and in print, while the print edition features even more stories about upcoming documentaries.
