Nothing's All Bad to San Sabastian

FESTIVAL. San Sebastian film festival has selected Mikkel Munch-Fals' directorial debut "Nothing's All Bad" for their Zabaltegi New Directors section.

"Nothing's All Bad" is selected for San Sabastian International Film Festival and will mark the world premiere for Mikkel Munch-Fals' feature film debut. The film will screen in the Zabaltegi New Directors programme.

An ensemble drama, "Nothing's All Bad" is a warts-and-all look at engulfing loneliness. The film follows the lives of four longing souls. Ingeborg who feels unattractive and young Jonas who is so attractive that he can literally sell some of what he's got. Anna, a young beautiful woman with a physical disability, and Anders, a tender man with a psychological disability. Four people yearning for love, four people, each hoping for a better tomorrow.

Writer-director Mikkel-Munch Fals—known to Danes as a two-fisted film critic-presenter on television—has made a number of short films including the awardwinning "First Flush."

Bodil Jørgensen, Sebastian Jessen, Mille Hoffmeyer Lehfeldt and Henrik Prip make up the leading cast. Meta Louise Foldager and Stine Meldgaard Madsen produced for Zentropa. Sales are handled by TrustNordisk www.trustnordisk.com.

Danish release is scheduled for 23 September 2010.

The Zabaltegi New Directors programme will screen 15 films. The winning film will receive € 90,000 for the filmmaker and a Spanish distributor.
