At the
closing celebration for the 16th European Film Academy Awards
held at Berlin's Arena Saturday, 6 December 2003, two major awards
went to Denmark:
European Director 2003: Lars von Trier for "Dogville". Produced
by Vibeke Windeløv of Zentropa.
European Cinematographer 2003: Anthony Dod Mantle for "Dogville"
and the UK produced "28 Days Later".
