At the final gala evening of the Copenhagen International Film Festival
(19-29 August 2004), the following awards were presented:
Golden Swan for Best Film: "Granny", directed by Lidiya Bobrova
(Russia) Golden Swan for Best Director: Nimród Antal for
"Kontroll" (Hungary) Golden Swan for Best Female Director: Gulshat
Omarova for "Schizo/Fifty-Fifty" (Kazakhstan)
Golden Swan for Best Actress: Anna Maria Mühe for "Love in Thoughts"
(Germany) Golden Swan for Best Actor: Luis Tosar for "Take My
Eyes" (Spain) Golden Swan for Best Screenplay: Lidiya Bobrova for
"Granny" (Russia)Golden Swan for Best Cinematography: Gyula Pados
for "Kontroll" (Hungary)Grand Jury Special Prize: actresses Nina
Shubina and Anna Ovsyannikova for "Granny" (Russia)
Members of the International Jury: (Jury President) István Szabó
(Hungary), David Mackenzie (Scotland), Jean-Marc Barr (Germany), Maia
Morgenstern (Rumania), Paprika Steen (Denmark).
