Ole Christian Madsen's feature film "Flame & Citron" is selected for the Contemporary World Cinema programme at Toronto International Film Festival (4-13 September).
"Flame & Citron" opened in Danish cinemas in March, received glowing reviews and has sold close to 700,000 tickets in Denmark alone, endowing it with a record for box-office admissions for the past seven years.
This WW2 resistance drama was produced by Lars Bredo Rahbek for Nimbus Film, and written by Lars K. Anders and Ole Christian Madsen.
