Lone Scherfig's feature
film "Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself", produced by Sisse Graum Olsen of
Zentropa, has been nominated four times by The British Independent Film
Awards. The awards ceremony will take place on 4 November at the Po Na Na
Old Hammersmith Palais in London. The four nominations
are
Best Screenplay (Anders
Thomas Jensen & Lone Scherfig)Best Performance by a Supporting
Actor or Actress (Shirley Henderson)Best Performance by a
Supporting Actor or Actress (Adrian Rawlins)Most Promising
Newcomer (Jamie Sives).
"Wilbur Wants to Kill
Himself" is also one of the six Danish feature films that have been chosen
to participate at this year's London Film Festival (28 October - 6
November).
