New Feature Film Festival Manager at DFI

The Danish Film
Institute actively promotes Danish films at major international festivals.
In doing so, we closely cooperate with the Danish directors, producers and
distributors. In
recent years, Danish films have been highly visible and they have left
their mark on the international festival scene. We wish to continue and
intensify these efforts to promote Danish films abroad.
Therefore, the Danish
Film Institute is pleased to announce that Lizette Gram is joining the
Danish Film Institute in a new position as International Festival
Relations Manager. In this new position, Lizette Gram will work closely
with Maja Dyekjær Giese (Head of Promotion) to establish and execute the
international festival launch of Danish feature films.
In her previous position
as PR and Marketing Manager at Trust Film Sales/Zentropa Productions,
Lizette Gram coordinated and successfully executed the international
festival releases of films such as "Italian for Beginners", "Miracle",
"Minor Mishaps", "Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself", "Open Hearts", and lastly
at the Cannes Festival 2003 - "Dogville" by Lars von
Trier.
Lizette Gram will assume
her new duties at the Danish Film Institute on Monday, 21 July
2003.
