Rend mig i traditionerne
Edward Fleming, 1979
Folksy-farcical fun is milked from novelist Leif Panduro's 1958 satire classic. David, a senior high-school student, aims a swift kick at his principal's behind and is committed to a psychiatric ward from the perspective of which he takes a close look at his allegedly sane family. They, of course, are the real loonies.

A semi-documentary, semi-feature film about the Danish multi-millionaire Hans Smith. He introduces himself as follows: »I am Hans Smith, I have made my millions on Substral, the fertilizer for flowers. I was born on the 5th April 1921, in Nørrebro, a working-class district in Copenhagen, the capitol of Denmark.
Robinson Columbus

Rocking Silver
Erik Clausen, 1983
Old rockers, like soldiers, never die, they only pass away. Well, Erik Clausen turns nostalgia into a vivid tribute to the moods and manners of the 1950s Danish Rock'n Roll by picking up a group of dispersed fellow bandsmen from wherever life and fate have left them stranded to have them revive their group and relive the good old days. A spirit of social solidarity permeates throughout.
Romantik på sengekanten
John Hilbard, 1973
De røde heste
Annelise Meineche, 1968
Den røde rubin
Annelise Meineche, 1970
Den røde tråd
Piv Bernth, 1989
Farce and flat-out cinematic mayhem set the general tone of Denmark's all-time favorite pop vocal group Shu-Bi-Dua's embrace of the big screen. The story: Nazi Germany's gold reserve, kept hidden for 44 years in a Danish vacation home, is being pursued by a German and by a Russian-British-American trio of treasure-hunters, all of them clownish to the hilt. Also featured: Lots of Shu-Bi-Dua vocalizing.
Rødtotterne og Tyrannos
Svend Johansen, 1988
Kiddie fun and thrills about seven sub-teeners who ally themselves with Grete, a contemporary state-of-the-art witch, in thwarting the plans of a group of corrupt builders and politicians to raze an idyllic patch of forest in order to use the site for new rows of concrete housing projects. The kids wear red tufts of hair as their fighter badges. An environmental message is tied neatly to the suspense.
