Det gode og det onde
Jørgen Leth, 1975
Jørgen Leth can squeeze poetry from a stone and wit from dust, and he can find love where the milk of human kindness runs dry. In a series of tableaux of Life in Denmark, he carries absurdism to a happy extreme. To act out his minuscule non-dramas, he uses a motley crew of professional actors like Ghita Nørby and Claus Nissen, writer Dan Turéll plus a snake charmer, a bicycle racer and a circus queen.

He steals just to appear prosperous, and petty crimes leads to larger ones, one day including murder.
Har du set Alice?
Brita Wielopolska, 1981
The director's point of departure was a newspaper report that 4.000 Danish youngsters run away from home every year. The film, based on further research but otherwise fictitious, tells of Alice, 16, and some drug-dealing friends who take curious pride in their roles as trouble-makers.
