One of them has these sort of hairy spines, and the other has spines that are grouped together. Some of them are pretty scary to walk by, because they have these really long spines, nearly two inches long. I guess my all-time favorite is the Queen of the Night...It’s very beautiful, and it only blooms once a year. At midnight. The Queen of the Night is totally different from all other cactus flowers. They don’t look all that nice or friendly. But they actually are.
