The film is an aestethic documentary that investigates the necessity of art and the difficult balancing between life as an artist and family life. The colourful painter Sigrun Gunnarsdóttir has been tasked with the challenge of creating Healing Art for the new hospital ward on the Faroe Islands, and at the same time she is preparing her first, big exhibition in Greenland, a place that holds a special meaning in her personal and artistic development.
