Director Smilla Khonsari wants to know how her father felt when they lost her mom. Painful and loving memories are revisited through home videos and tape recordings, and the conversations they have neglected in the past finally take place. The film takes place in the safe environment of her home on Møn, which adds a nice atmosphere to the film. She gets closer to knowing who her mother was, but it is the strengthening of the bond between father and daughter that is the film's dna.
