Viktor Leth is a grown man who has lived alone with his fearful mother his whole life. When she suddenly dies, he finds out that his father is still alive. However, while Viktor believes he is a famous jazz musician, it turns out his father really works in a big insurance company. Luckily, it turns out that Viktor has a hidden talent for insurance because of everything his mother has told him about fear, and his father tries to take advantage of this. In the process Viktor meets Josefine, an incredibly unlucky middle manager, and the two outsiders fall in love. But when the future of the company suddenly revolves around Viktor, he must make a choice.
