Hitman Go

Daniel Lutz, Denmark, 2014

Game

Hitman GO takes Agent 47, the title character from the Hitman stealth series, and puts him into a turn-based strategic environment. Playing on board game set pieces, you must move Agent 47 along preset paths. You have goals to accomplish, such as eliminating a target, collecting a briefcase, not killing any guards, or completing the level in under a certain number of moves. You come across stationary guards who face a specific direction, patrolling guards, and guard dogs.
You are able to use distractions to draw guards away from their post, allowing you to move past them, or sneak up and kill them. You can don disguises, which allow you to get to a spot on the map that would normally result in you being killed. As the game progresses, you'll get access to more equipment.
While drastically different from the typical Hitman games, all the basics are here; they're just played out in a turn-based, board-game manner.
