A film about the Norvegia expedition of 1929-1930. It was the third expedition of scientific Antarctic research equipped by Consul Lars Christensen. In addition to scientific work, the expedition set up a depot on the newly annexed Bouvet Island, and make airphotos of it. There was also some work concerning whaling. Next, the expedition was to explore the unchartered areas between Enderby Land and the Wendell Sea.
