BLUE OPENER is the glow of the screen, the near-sightedness of far-sight, the unseeing blue. Blue is no colour: Blue is the hue of the black-and-white, the lettering on the screen, the poetry of the cathode ray. Blue opens the road from image to writing, blue lifts from the white haze, white surfaces to white spaces.
