The Indian word HOPI means peace and American Indians appeal to the world - asking all people to make peace and to create harmony on earth. According to the ancient American Indian myth, it was inappropriate human behaviour that led to the annihilation of previous civilizations. Similar stories are found in almost all religions of the world. Can it be that there might be some truth in this point of view? The original people of the Earth, the indigenous peoples, are almost extinct, and the universal wisdom, which they have managed to preserve for thousands of years, may soon be lost.
