Mats is a young guy and like everyone else alsways strapped for cash. However, when he finds a pair of pants with magic pockets producing money everything changes! Suddenly, the world is at his feet and Mats can now fulfill his wildest dreams.
But when Mats realizes that he is abusing the power that comes with the money, Mats decides to help other people instead.
Meanwhile, powerful forces has for many years been looking for the legendary golden pants, and they soon track down Mats and kidnaps his dad. At the same time it turns out that the money in his pants actually come from various vaults all over the country. This means that now Mats also has the police chasing after him. He only has two friends his best friends David and Livlí who will help him save his father and make everything right.
