Emma's life in the suburbs, gray and predictable, she's an outsider among the other young kids in the village. Emma's filming with her phone, filming realeves her from the stifling boredom and indifference around her. The films are full of her beating teenage heart and loneliness. She filmes herself - anyone can see them.
The popular boy and king of the suburbs Simon spots Emma and falls in love. Emma is the only girl he can't impress, but Emma sees the opportunity to use him as a conspirator in her films. She uses her power over him and cast him in her films. They make films that are in no way adult friendly - adults have so many rules and stuff. But the films in return gets many views, it's insane! The other young kids in the village get included - finally somthing else is happening other than the usual. Emma gets a taste of blood in her films - you have to push the boundaries further out if you want the same kick. Emma wants that kick.
