"Last Dreams" confronts us with a big taboo in our society, namely death. The film demystifies death and shows that dying can be an intimate and healing process, both for the dying person and his or her relatives. The film follows three main characters from the day they arrive at the hospice until the day they die. We follow the patients' relationships with doctors, nurses, relatives and the vicar. A hospice can be a less depressing place than many would imagine. "Last Dreams" make the audience laugh, cry, get angry and also share hope with its characters.
