»Flying Granny« is a road movie packed with good vibes, fun songs and fairytale happenings. Nine-year-old Eva doesn't want to spend her summer holidays at home while everyone else is on vacation, besides her parents are busy at work. So she sets off for Rome with granny in search of Åge the postal pilot, the man who was granny's beloved for three days and nights long ago. But in Wikke & Rasmussen's fairytale universe of adventure, Rome is just as likely to be in Jutland as in Italy. In this Danish road movie for kids, many of gran and Eva's wishes come true, and of course they find Åge, a handsome man in a bomber jacket who has the unfortunate habit of falling asleep whenever he's truly happy.
