This film is about hope - the hope to extend life and cure people with cancer. And the ultimate hope that one day all gathered research and knowledge will lead to a future cure for cancer. Three doctors from the department of Oncology at Herlev Hospital are trying to find a cure for cancer. They are driven by their desire to understand the errors in the human organism that causes cancer and threaten life and health of every 3 adult in Denmark. The film is about cancer research, advanced technology and the immune system, but it is also about anarchism, creativity, willpower and an extraordinary faith in the future.
