You won't get freedom for nothing, it's something to be conquered! That is the message. In 1971, the women took two houses in Åbenrå. A lot of activities grew forth, transcending barriers for many: Self-help, electricity courses etc. In 1975 they were evicted, but took another house. The authorities put the women off, but they had to give in in the end, the women had conquered their freedom.
