Around the turn of the century, women all over the world were struggling for the right to vote. This right was essential to them; without it they were unable to change any of the laws that oppressed them and condemned them to a life deprived of civil rights.
Through a montage of historical film footage, old photographs and reconstructions, »Liberty, Equality and the Right to Vote« brings these pages of history alive, allowing us to relive the way Danish women fought for 29 long years for the right to vote, finally gaining it in 1915.99
