Three Caucasian men cross the Haitian border in an old bus. During the next three days they experience an almost indescribable combination of fear, joy and euphoria. Haiti, the poorest country on the western hemisphere, holds an annual three-day carnival. 2 million black people roam the streets in an intense display of music, dance, violence, joy, alcohol and voodoo. A celebration solely for the black inhabitants, Caucasians and tourists are unwelcome.
