A warm portrait about a person for whom things once went radically wrong. »Heaven Above Me« is the second film in a sequel following »No Deal For a Bag Man«.
Uffe has been living on the street in Copenhagen for more than 20 years. Throughout summer and winter he walks about pushing an overloaded shopping trolley, earning his living by gathering and selling bottles. When a photo from Uffe's school days turns up, two film producers who have managed to establish a trustworthy relationship with Uffe, begin to research on his background. They confront Uffe regarding the information they have obtained about his past. The producers spend more than a year together with him, and during this time he appears to return to reality and regain his former self.
