Asger is on his way to a meeting on an island off the coast of Jutland, Denmark.
In his mid-20s, he graduated from Academy of Fine Arts a few years ago, and to much surprise he became the fastest selling painter of his generation. The sudden success and large sums of money went to his head. His alcohol consumption escalated, causing his creativity to diminish. His derailment is total; he can paint no more, his money spent on drugs and alcohol, his gallery is on the verge of dropping him.
Hitting rock bottom, a letter appears in his mailbox; Asger did not know his father, but now discovers that he is dead and has left him a neglected hotel. Asger eyes an opportunity to make some quick money; it could be the break he desperately needs.
