In 1976 Braad Thomsen made his film "Wellspring of my World" about the village of his childhood that was about to be destroyed by a motorway. 14 years later, he revisits the village on the occasion of his mother's death. The journey is both an uncovering of personal memories and of things that found no room in the family photo album.
