When the maid Annie falls pregnant by a nephew of the owner of the estate where she works, she’s sent away. The child is given up for adoption and grows up on the estate. One day, when Annie wants her child back, her only friend, Johann, helps her with the abduction. Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned, and a tragic accident seals Annie’s fate.
