Ove Arup (1895-1988) left Denmark in 1924 and has since then lived and worked in London. In a number of scenes from Ove Arup's British world, his Danish past life, his dreams, the film tries to visualize his hunt for »the truth«. A hunt which involves his wife, a hedgehog roaming in his garden, the days of childhood in the Academy of Sorø and the dream of a penguin locked up in a deserted Concorde on its way to Heathrow Airport. »The truth« often wears the strangest costumes.
