Jernhårde ladies

In 1996 images from the Summer Olympics in Atlanta flowed into Danish homes while tears of joy were not only in the eyes of the players, but also in the eyes of the Danish audience. The documentary film ¿Jernhårde Ladies¿ tells the story of the women's national handball team in the period 1987-1996. The film honors the players and the coach who transformed the sport into a national phenomenon. It shows the professional and personal lives of the players and coach, their ups and downs, and their long struggle towards their common goal: to become Olympic champions!
