Mariglen and his father are refugees from Albania. They have applied for asylum in Denmark and they are waiting for an answer. Meanwhile they are staying at an asylum centre. 25-year-old Mariglen is struggling to break away from his dominating father, who has now fallen ill and says he is going to kill himlself. Mariglen has to take care of his father in a country where fate seems to be in the hands of the system.
