Lille dreng på Østerbro - en film om by og barndom

Ib Spang Olsen, illustrator and writer, born 1921, tells about his childhood in Østerbro, Copenhagen. In a mosaic of boys' stories, with the illustrator's eye for details and the writer's ability to remember, infinity is caught in smallness. The story is composed by Ib Spang Olsen's own drawings, archive pictures, old film clippings and new shootings from the land of childhood which has now partly disappeared.
