10-year-old Benjamin doesn¿t feel at home in his new family. His parents are divorced and Benjamin lives with his mother and her new boyfriend, Robert. Benjamin¿s mother and Robert are in love, and Robert does all he can to establish a good relationship with Benjamin. But Benjamin misses his dad. He collects tin soldiers from the First World War, and dreams that one day he and his mother will be rescued by the soldiers and reunited with Benjamin¿s father.
