Rabiaa arrives from Syria to Norway with his four-year-old son, Qais, where the two of them must start over. Alone in Norway, Rabiaa dreams of rebuilding the sense of family that is so important to him and his son. However, Rabiaa has a wounded leg and can barely walk. He isn't familiar with the Norwegian society and culture and he doesn't speak the language. He has to learn everything anew while being a single father to his son.
