The North Star

In January 1973, the assistants at the day-care institutions in Copenhagen went on strike. The NORTH STAR in Nørrebro had to close as one of the first. This was a thorn in the side of the municipal authorities as they aimed at keeping the institutions going in spite of the strike. The film tells how the parents and the employees make common cause and about life in the kindergarten.
