Hannah, who has few expectations, is a woman not quite out of her prime. She's resigned herself to living with her husband and son in a small nondescript town. When she wins tickets to a gospel concert at her local cathedral, all hell - or heaven - breaks loose. And not just for her - there's Jackson too, a black gospel priest, who unwittingly finds himself stranded in Hannah's town. Soon everything is turned on its head and Hannah, rediscovers feelings she'd forgotten she had, as well as a God-given talent, which she had reluctantly hidden away.
